Over the past year we’ve consolidated our business following the series of acquisitions we made, stepping up the pace of product innovation to offer a complete solution for investment managers, advisers and traders.

We’re making great progress towards uniting everything our South African clients need in a single, integrated platform. We’ve introduced an agile development methodology to speed up product iteration. We’ve also built cross-functional development teams that blend multiple disciplines and skills to solve your problems and address your opportunities in innovative ways. The result is a unique combination of global expertise and local knowledge to deliver truly transformational results for your business.

Some of the improvements we’ve made across our solution stack include an enriched interface, a more consistent experience across different IRESS products and an even more responsive approach in our engagement with you.

For example, we recently announced a global initiative called IRESS Labs which means more users of our software can input directly into the design and development process and get to use future functionality before its general release.

This update also includes other highlights  from our leaders including our progress in preparing our clients and solution stack for the JSE's Integrated Trading and Clearing (ITaC) initiative, the migration from Hermes to the IRESS product stack, our support for the A2X market in key products and improvements to our market data offering.

You'll also learn about how we are bringing the same level of frictionless, automated trading to unit trusts and other non-listed funds as our clients enjoy when trading in exchange-listed securities and instruments.

This development promises to bring higher levels of efficiency and transparency to a market where many processes have, to date, involved a great deal of manual intervention.

Through last year’s festive pay-it-forward campaign, IRESS clients unlocked funds to provide Leesa Ngwenya with a bursary to study a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology. We are inspired by her dedication are excited to be a part of changing her future and growing the pool of black women in the FinTech sector. We'll share more on Leesa in our next update!

I hope you enjoy reading the updates and look forward to your feedback.
